About the Role We are seeking an experienced Alcohol and Drug Clinician to join our Community Mental Health and Addiction Service Opioid Substitution Team. The role involves: Case management Assessment and monitoring of patients Varied group work, including individual and family interventions Liaison with other health providers across the sector About the Team/Service/Location Our service provides a full range of mental health and alcohol and drug services, including assessment, group therapy, family/whānau and individual interventions. We work with both the person and their family to achieve the best possible results. The team is based at Manaia House in Whangarei. About You A qualified health professional with current registration such as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or eligibility for DAPAANZ registration. Experience working in the alcohol and drug field and/or a recognised qualification in alcohol and drug studies. Skilled in assessing and treating people experiencing co‑existing disorders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Passionate about working alongside people and their whānau with a diverse and flexible approach and commitment to Tikanga Māori.
