Excavator/Operator – NI We are: Civtec was established in 2014 and provides civil, and utilities infrastructure works across telecommunications, three waters, and energy. We have a dedicated team across New Zealand of operational field force, customer service and business support teams, using the latest technology and high-quality machinery to provide a leading service second to none. The role: Looking for a skilled excavator operator to join the team in the civil and drainage space. Must be confident in trenching to measurement, deep excavation and have at least 2 years' experience operating an excavator. Responsibilities Operating excavators (1.5T to 20T) for drainage and civil works Reading plans and working alongside drainlayers and site foremen Trenching for pipework and backfilling to spec Maintaining a tidy, safe worksite Working on both residential and commercial projects Ability to lay pipework and complete basic fittings as per plans Able to use GPS for builds - (not essential) Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in all aspects of civil and drainage works including machine operation and labouring. WTR endorsement essential Class 2 preferable Physically fit Reliable transport Able to pass a pre‑employment drug test. What’s in it for you?
