Consultant Psychiatrist – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Location: South Auckland communities including Otahuhu, Mangere, Otara, Pukekohe, Papakura, Manurewa, and East Auckland region. Salary: $185,380 - $267,980 (ASMS SECA), dependent on experience. Benefits: Free assistance with immigration through immigration advisor. About the role Provide clinically and culturally responsive specialist mental health care for Rangatahi and Tamariki with serious mental health and addiction problems. Provide clinical consultation and liaison with primary care partners and schools. Work within culturally rich South Auckland communities. Responsibilities Provide consultation and liaison with primary care partners for mild to moderate concerns. Provide clinical oversight, assessment and treatment to tamariki and Rangatahi. Provide clinical consultant liaison to health professionals in primary care practices and schools. Work mainly from bases at Otahuhu and/or Springs Rd East Tamaki, with opportunity to work from other clinics. Qualifications Eligible to register or registered in a Vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand (NZMC). Current annual practising certificate with the NZMC. Experience in child and adolescent mental health and addictions preferred. Welcoming overseas candidates.
