Executive Administrator - Mokopuna Ora

Te Rau Mahi – Executive Administrator (Mokopuna Ora) This role ensures the smooth running of team operations through effective coordination, communication, and administrative support, while contributing to continuous improvement and alignment with Waikato‑Tainui values. Key responsibilities include: Provide executive and administrative support to senior leaders Manage diaries, inboxes, and communications; coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow‑ups Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials to support decision‑making Coordinate travel, events, stakeholder engagements, and team activities Maintain accurate records, financial processes (e.g. Purchase Orders), and filing systems Support projects, improve systems and Standard Operating Procedures, and ensure compliance with policies and the Privacy Act 2020 Key requirements of the role include: Proven experience supporting senior leaders in an executive administration role, managing competing priorities Strong organisational, time‑management, and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality documents Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills, with sound judgement and initiative High attention to detail, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information Understanding of Waikato‑Tainui values and tikanga; experience in iwi/public sector or Te Ao Māorī context is advantageous What’s in it for you You will be part of a supportive organisation that values its people and is driven by a strong sense of purpose.
