Job Description
The Addington hostel has been providing housing support for Men for 130 years and provides a wraparound care for those with prior involvement with Corrections, Mental health or Addiction services. What will your responsibilities be: Working with a case load each week Support the men towards independent living in the community Attend case meetings and staff trainings Our ideal candidate will: Must have a NZ degree in social work, Nursing, Counselling, Addictions (or equivalent) Must have NZ registration with NZNO, SWRB, NZAC or Dapaanz or NZ equivalent At least 1 years of experience in working within Corrections/Housing/Mental Health/Addictions or equivalent. This role is Fixed term for up to 12 months and the hours will be 20 hours per week . The annual starting salary for this role will be set by the Social Workers pay equity and fall between $68,000 - $102,000 (pro rata) depending upon your level of experience.
