Geotechnical Engineer – New Plymouth We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our New Plymouth Business and provide consultancy services to our clients, including site investigations, analysis, reporting, design, and construction observation on projects primarily for buildings, roads, water and structures. This role is responsible for growing and developing the Geotechnical engineering capacity in the New Plymouth office and in the Taranaki/Manawatu-Whanganui Region. Responsibilities The key responsibilities include: Conducting site investigations and geotechnical studies for new developments and existing projects. Performing analysis and preparing technical reports in accordance with New Zealand design codes and standards. Supporting design proposals and providing technical input throughout the design process. Providing construction observation and field support to ensure geotechnical aspects comply with design and safety requirements. Driving the growth of Geotechnical engineering expertise within the team and fostering professional development. Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering. Experience with New Zealand design codes and standards. Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence. Preferably a minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in a related discipline. Applicants will be considered from the date of posting.
