Lead Dental Nurse

Lead Dental Nurse – Bupa Dental Care, Wellington Location: 22 Church Street, Wellington, Telford, TF1 1DG. Hiring Manager: Aneta Rodowicz. Hours: Full‑time, 39.25 hours per week. Working pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:45 am – 5:30 pm; Friday 7:45 am – 5:00 pm. Responsibilities Support the Practice Manager and clinicians in the day‑to‑day running of the practice. Lead, mentor and support the nursing team. Ensure compliance with CQC and clinical governance standards. Deliver exceptional chairside support and patient care. Drive a positive, high‑performing team culture. Qualifications GDC‑registered Dental Nurse. Previous experience in a senior or lead role (or readiness to step up). Strong organisational and leadership skills. Proactive, positive attitude with a passion for teamwork. Core Skills & Experience Confident leading a team. GDC Registered. Preferential dental experience. Ensure CQC requirements are met and manage audits. Oversee reception and staff rotas. Update patient records. Set up decontamination of instruments. Provide clinical chair‑side support to dentists. Undertake some reception duties. Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus. Strong communication skills.
