Preschool Head Teacher

Due to an internal promotion, Kingdomcity Childcare is seeking an exceptional head teacher to lead our preschool team. Our current head teacher has recently stepped into the centre manager role, creating an exciting opportunity for a confident and relational leader. Tamariki move freely between both spaces, fostering strong relationships and meaningful learning opportunities. As head teacher, you will: Lead and mentor a team of six kaiako Foster a positive and collaborative team culture Support high-quality teaching and learning aligned with Te Whāriki Build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community Partner closely with the Centre Manager and leadership team Champion Kingdomcity's Christian values in everyday practice About you You will hold a recognised ECE qualification and current practising certificate, have previous leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting both tamariki and kaiako to thrive.
