Job Description
Opportunity We are seeking an experienced procurement manager to lead procurement strategy and supplier partnerships across Smith&Smith, Laser and Exceed. You will lead development of procurement and supplier relationships, management frameworks, oversee contract management and negotiations and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with organisational objectives. The role also has responsibility for supporting property, facilities and fleet‑related procurement processes across the group. Location: NZ Support Office (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060) Hours: 30 hours Monday – Friday Fixed Term: 12 months What we’re looking for: 3–5 years’ experience in procurement or commercial leadership role Strong leadership and influencing stakeholder capabilities and experience Strategic thinker – able to think creatively, analyse complex data, and deliver innovative, commercially sound solutions Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a proven ability to deliver value through supplier management, cost optimisation and contract negotiations Develop and present business initiatives with a sound economic basis Proven experience managing supplier relationships, including contract development, negotiations and performance management Clear understanding of SME business drivers, issues and needs Exposure to franchise operations advantageous Skilled communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication, capable of simplifying complex issues Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills – across internal stakeholders and external suppliers Proven ability to coach, influence and embed procurement best practice with the business Energetic, motivated and self‑starting individual with a passion for achieving outstanding results and continuous improvement Collaborative team player with a strong network and innate customer‑first mindset Experience working within a governance framework and ensuring procurement compliance is advantageous Degree qualification or equivalent tertiary qualification preferred What we offer: Global opportunities – As part of the Belron group, you’ll have access to career pathways not just across New Zealand, but around the world Career development – We’re committed to helping you grow, with ongoing training and development opportunities Flexible working opportunities – Opportunity to work flexibly if mutually agreed #J-18808-Ljbffr
