Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity There is lots of variety in this role to keep you on your toes. It covers level 1‑2 support, administration, process improvement and the development of a more automated service for the future. Relationship management is also a key part of this role as the team implements Agile methodology. You will liaise across Technology and provide support up to senior management and Board level. Regional travel may be required to support other offices, and you may need to work hours between 6am and 6pm depending on the area assigned. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, proactive and timely technical support via phone, Microsoft Teams and face‑to‑face. Troubleshoot end‑user hardware issues. Manage request and incident tickets within operational/service level targets. Contribute to the Support Team’s documentation and continuous service improvement efforts. Work closely with other technical teams to deliver a smooth support experience. Qualifications Experience in a service desk environment. Knowledge of IT diagnostics and technical problem solving, including issue management. Strong relationship management experience and a confident communication style. Ability to communicate technical detail to non‑technical audiences at all levels. A resilient, self‑driven approach and strong customer service skills. Experience using Office365 and ServiceNow or a similar ticketing management system. Knowledge of, or willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori, Te Reo Māori, tikanga, and an appreciation of TeTiritioWaitangi as it applies to the public sector. Salary £80,000–£89,000, commensurate with skills and experience. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package. Flexible working arrangements, including a mix of remote and in‑office.
