Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities Leading or contributing to end-to-end product development, from concept through to commercialisation Collaborating cross-functionally with teams across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory Driving design solutions that balance performance, manufacturability, and patient safety Overseeing prototype development, testing, and validation activities Supporting design reviews, risk assessments, and technical documentation Mentoring and sharing knowledge with less experienced engineers Requirements 5+ years’ experience in a relevant engineering environment Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline Strong track record of delivering engineering outcomes in complex, real-world settings Confident communicator who can work effectively across teams and influence decisions A thoughtful, pragmatic approach to problem solving and risk management Experience in some or all of the following: New product development and product lifecycle management Designing and building prototypes, with a hands‑on approach Manufacturing processes (e.g. injection moulding, DFM/DFA principles) Product testing, validation, and technical documentation Project leadership or ownership of key workstreams Exposure to regulated environments (e.g. medical devices, ISO standards) #J-18808-Ljbffr
