Overview Join our Pharmacy team at Wairau Hospital where your expertise will make a difference. This is a permanent, full‑time position (1.0 FTE, 80 hours a fortnight) ideal for a pharmacist seeking a dynamic role in a hospital environment and a meaningful impact on patient care in the Nelson Marlborough region. Responsibilities Providing clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation and optimisation of treatments Dispensing and supplying medications in accordance with hospital protocols and national standards Offering professional advice to healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers to promote safe medication use Ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital guidelines for medication management Supporting stock management, including procurement and safe storage of medicines About the Team/Service/Location The Wairau Hospital Pharmacy Team is a dedicated group of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who provide safe and effective medication management across hospital wards, outpatient services and community healthcare. The team operates in a multidisciplinary setting, working closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams to ensure optimal medication use and patient outcomes.
