# Mental Health Occupational Therapist iCAMHS at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Lakes, Bay of Plenty## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**Occupational Therapist****Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) Mental Health & Addiction Services Rotorua****Permanent, Part time**We have a rare opportunity to work as an **Occupational Therapist** and join our passionate **Rotorua- Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS).** The role is based in Rotorua in the Childrens Health Hub and includes support, as needed, to the Southern Lakes iCAMHS team, based in Taupo.We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team who has an interest in Mental Health. Post graduate experience in mental health (2 years) would be an asset however, for the right candidate, this could be a great position for a new graduate with opportunities to develop skills in occupational therapy assessment, individual work and group facilitation, and special interests such as sensory integration.The role strongly aligns processes with the intent of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ara Tauwhirotanga model of care. The Rotorua team works closely aligned to other child & adolescent health services at Te Aka Mauri, the Childrens Health Hub, located in the Rotorua Public Library building.The Lakes Mental Health & Addiction co-designed model of care, Te Ara Tauwhirotanga, actively promotes compassionate, person-centered care.
