Job Description

Asset Intelligence Consultant - Napier Join our Asset Management team in Napier and help organisations make smarter infrastructure decisions through the power of data, technology, and asset information. Working across a range of infrastructure projects, you'll apply your expertise in asset information management, spatial analysis, and digital tools to deliver meaningful insights and practical solutions for clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, GIS, asset management systems, and digital technologies, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve asset performance and inform better investment decisions. What you’ll do Deliver asset data and information management services, technical advice, and support to internal and external clients. Apply data and spatial analysis techniques to support infrastructure planning, asset management, and project delivery. Develop and enhance digital tools, dashboards, reporting solutions, and spatially enabled asset systems. Support the operation and improvement of asset information systems, including RAMM, GIS, and associated databases. Assist with project planning, scope development, fee estimates, and project delivery plans. Manage project tasks and reporting to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver data-driven and spatially informed solutions. Contribute to proposals, tenders, business development, and client engagement activities. Support WSP's asset intelligence, information management, and digital delivery capabilities. About you Relevant tertiary qualification in Data Science, Geospatial Technologies, Engineering, Information Management, or a related discipline. 3–5 years' professional experience in asset information management, geospatial analysis, data management, infrastructure asset management, or a related field. Experience working with asset management, GIS, or information management systems and databases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights. Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, or digital solutions would be advantageous. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and client-focused approach. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
