About the Role: Part time, 48 hours per fortnight based in Porirua- As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be supporting others to maintain a high quality of life and home environment, while encouraging full participation within their community. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate to provide cover for leave and roster gaps, depending on service needs. Please Note - This role requires availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Skills and Experience: A Passion for Tāngata/People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people Experience: Must have 12 months minimum experience working in the Health Sector Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles. Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset. Practical Skills: Prompting personal cares, including showering and dressing and confident in the kitchen Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
