Fresh Foods Assistant - Bakery

We are looking for someone with a passion for food preparation to join our Fresh Food team with a position available in the Bakery department on a full‑time basis. In our Bakery our rosters are fixed, so you’ll know what days you’ll work each week and that you’ll be working 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week. The roster is Saturday to Wednesday 5am to 2.30pm. The ideal candidate will be: Someone with previous food handling and preparation experience preferred Customer service focused and committed to providing our customers with high quality products Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, is self-motivated, organised, possess time management skills and is an effective communicator Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift heavy items (up to 15kg) Available to work mornings from 05:00am and weekends Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assisting Bakers by performing routine food preparation, cleaning, storage tasks, packing and presenting products ready for sale Maintaining stock levels in cabinets and retail spaces and ensuring all products on display are of superior quality Working within Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements A Position Description is available on request.
