Location: Matamata, Waikato Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $28–$32 per hour About the Role: You'll be part of a hardworking team delivering essential civil infrastructure projects across the region. This role combines machinery operation with hands‑on site work and offers ongoing opportunities for experienced operators who take pride in doing the job right. Key Responsibilities Operating excavators and other civil construction machinery Working safely around underground services Assisting with earthworks, excavation, and site preparation Digging and trimming to levels and specifications Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials Backfilling and compacting materials Spotting machinery and maintaining a safe workplace Following site plans and health and safety procedures Carrying out general civil labouring duties when required What We're Looking For WTR endorsements on your licence Previous civil construction experience Experience operating civil machinery and equipment Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Reliable transport Strong health and safety awareness Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently What's In It For You Competitive pay rates Weekly pay Immediate start available Ongoing work opportunities for the right people Variety of projects to keep things interesting Support from a team that understands the industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
