Boatbuilder / Shipwright Location: West Auckland, Auckland Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $40 per hour – paid weekly What you’ll be doing: Build and assemble wooden, fiberglass, or composite boats from the ground up Carry out hull repairs, restorations, and refits on a range of vessels Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and technical drawings Work with materials including timber, fiberglass, epoxy resins, and metals Install and maintain boat components Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment What we’re looking for: Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on experience working on boats Experience as a boatbuilder, shipwright, or similar trade background Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong understanding of marine construction and safety standards Good communication skills and a team‑focused attitude What’s in it for you: Weekly pay Ongoing support from the Tradestaff team Opportunity to work on an exciting project Potential for ongoing work Great team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
