We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Sleep Physiologist to join our well-established and supportive Respiratory Service team at Middlemore Hospital. Working within a large multidisciplinary team of respiratory and sleep specialists, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality sleep diagnostic services and treatment across the community. This includes home-based sleep studies, interpretation of results, initiation of PAP therapy, and ongoing management of patients on PAP therapy. Alongside Clinical Nurse Specialists, you will also provide clinical guidance and supervision to Community Health Workers and contribute to ongoing service development and improvement initiatives within a growing area of the service. This is a permanent part‑time (0.9 FTE) position within a service committed to delivering exceptional respiratory and sleep care to our diverse community. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Registration with the Clinical Physiologists Registration Board (CPRB) and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC), or eligibility to obtain. A Postgraduate Diploma of Medical Technology (Sleep Medicine), or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this qualification. A minimum of 2 years experience in sleep physiology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A patient‑focused, flexible, and adaptable approach. Full New Zealand driver's licence.
