Leading Hand - Drainage

What's the job? We have a strong pipeline of work ahead and are looking for a skilled and motivated Leading Hand to join our Drainage team. As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a variety of drainage projects. This role requires experience across all aspects of drainage work, along with the ability to read and interpret plans while keeping projects on track to meet production targets. Strong leadership skills are essential and you should be confident in training and mentoring team members while maintaining high‑quality workmanship. What you’ll bring Proven experience leading a team within the industry Expertise in deep drainage, trench excavation with shields, pipelaying, and dewatering CCC Authorised & NZ Registered (preferred) National Certificate in Water or Drainage (advantageous) WTR endorsements (essential) STMS (preferred) Ability to communicate effectively and drive team performance Physically fit, self‑motivated, and safety‑conscious If you’re a driven and skilled drainage professional looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you!
