Traffic Management Operator / Labourer

To safely implement, maintain, monitor and remove temporary traffic management (TTM) on Tarbotton Land & Civil worksites and client projects, while assisting with general civil construction and labouring activities as required. Full NZ Class 2 Driver Licence. Minimum 2 years' experience as a practising STMS. Sound knowledge of NZ Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (NZGTTM) and industry best practice. Experience setting up, monitoring and removing temporary traffic management. Ability to read and implement Traffic Management Plans (TMPs). Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labouring duties. Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance. Pride in completing work to a high standard Key Responsibilities Drive and operate traffic management vehicles and equipment. Set up, maintain, adjust and remove temporary traffic management in accordance with approved TMPs. Conduct site inspections and monitor traffic management throughout works. Complete traffic management documentation and records. Liaise with site supervisors, STMS personnel, clients and road users. Ensure all traffic management equipment is maintained, clean and fit for purpose. Assist civil crews with labouring and general site duties when traffic management activities are not required. Participate in toolbox meetings, training and safety initiatives. Report hazards, incidents and near misses promptly.
