Due to sustained growth and a project pipeline that shows no signs of slowing, our client is seeking an established Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their high‑performing Auckland team. Key Responsibilities Provide end‑to‑end commercial management across projects, including stakeholder engagement with clients, architects, and contractors Deliver feasibility assessments, master planning budgets, estimating, cost planning, design cost reviews, and value engineering solutions Manage procurement, tender evaluations, commercial analysis, and contract negotiations to achieve optimal project outcomes Oversee project financial management, including cash flow forecasting, cost reporting, variation assessments, payment certifications and final account administration Lead claims preparation and negotiation, conduct investment analysis, and develop benchmarking methodologies to enhance the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of cost models and reporting Qualifications Demonstrated success delivering complex construction or infrastructure projects from a commercial perspective Minimum of seven years' experience in Quantity Surveying or commercial cost management Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Strong capability in cost planning, estimating, and financial management, with proficiency using CostX or comparable estimating software Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships Highly organised with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail Benefits and Incentives Performance‑based annual bonus Comprehensive health insurance Ongoing professional development, including financial support for industry memberships and accreditation (e.g. RICS or NZIQS) Flexible working arrangements that promote a healthy work‑life balance Opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team with a strong focus on career development #J-18808-Ljbffr
