We invite psychologists to support specialist mental health services across the Counties Manukau district. Positions Maternal Mental Health (Fixed Term) Provides comprehensive assessment, treatment and support for women and fathers experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges during or related to the perinatal period. The team offers compassionate care tailored to each individual's needs. Youth Forensics Liaison Team (YFT) Delivers consultation, liaison and intervention services for children and young people involved in the youth justice sector. Supports individuals with serious conditions and offers liaison support to primary care providers and NGOs for those with mild to moderate concerns. Regional Dual Disability Service (RDDS) Provides assessment, intervention and consultation for adult clients with both psychiatric disorders and intellectual disability. Psychologists conduct specialist assessments and develop treatment plans in partnership with community supports. Early Psychosis Intervention Team (EPIT) Offers early intervention, assessment and consultation for young people under 30 experiencing first‑episode psychosis or high risk of psychosis. Services are community‑based and include support for mild to moderate mental health concerns. Qualifications & Skills Registered or eligible for NZ Psychology Board registration under the general or clinical scope of practice. Hold a current annual practising certificate or eligible to apply for one. A minimum 12months practical experience in clinical psychology or equivalent. Full, clean driver’s licence.
