As an all‑year service, the kindergarten will remain open for one week of each school holiday break, with a two‑week closure period over Christmas / New Year and on public holidays. Play‑based learning grounded in Te Whāriki Warm, responsive relationships Strong whānau partnerships and community connections Honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice Celebrating Maori and Pacific cultures, languages and values. The successful applicant will: Work collaboratively within an experienced and passionate teaching team Provide high‑quality, nurturing care for young children Plan and implement a responsive, inclusive curriculum for tamariki aged 2–5 Build respectful, trusting relationships with whānau and the wider community. We are looking for a teacher who: Holds an ECE teaching qualification and current practising certificate Has relevant experience in a similar role Uses, or is willing to learn, te reo Māori and Pacific languages.
