About the Role Position: Trade Sales / Driver – Hastings Branch. Permanent full‑time, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Specific start and finish times will be discussed during the interview stage. Responsibilities Deliver products to sites and build strong relationships with customers. Serve at the trade counter, ensuring customers receive what they need to start their day. Support other areas of the branch as needed. Qualifications and Requirements Customer‑focused – comfortable interacting both in the branch and on the road. Physically fit – capable of lifting up to 20 kg. Positive attitude, keen to learn, and willing to pitch in wherever required. Flexible and reliable with strong teamwork skills. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations. Good retail sales and customer service skills. Good time management and ability to work under pressure. Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence. Valid forklift licence (essential). Pride in personal appearance with strong interpersonal skills. Trade knowledge is a bonus but not essential; training will be provided. Benefits Salary aligned to experience, reviewed annually.
