About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to patients and whānau, working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible health outcomes. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, while actively contributing to quality improvement initiatives and culturally responsive practice. About the Team/Service/Location Ward5 is a busy Adult Medical Inpatient Ward providing care for patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality, patient‑centred care while contributing to positive health outcomes for the people of Tairāwhiti. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your medical nursing skills in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, professional development, and excellence in patient care. About you Current registration with the Nursing Council of NewZealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC). Current eligibility to work in NewZealand. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving Māori health outcomes. Strong communication, assessment, clinical reasoning and time management skills. The ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment. A professional, adaptable and patient-focused approach to nursing practice. A commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in PDRP.
