Companion Animal/Mixed Veterinarian

The Role We’re looking for a companion animal or mixed veterinarian to join our friendly Maungaturoto team. You’ll enjoy a truly varied caseload from family pets through to farm dogs. Our clinics service dairy, sheep and beef and equine clients, so if you love keeping your hand in large animal work this could be the perfect role. You’ll be working alongside an experienced team of mixed and companion animal vets, with the support of our skilled vet nurses, techs, and customer service teams who create a collaborative and positive working environment. We’re flexible on working arrangements and can offer a four or five‑day week to suit your lifestyle. Whether you’re an experienced vet or a recent graduate, we’d love to hear from you. With internal referral to an ultrasound expert and an orthopaedic guru, and proximity to referral clinics in Auckland, you’ll have everything you need to excel in your role, with the added benefit of providing a vital not‑too‑busy local after‑hours service. About The Vet Centre We’re a fast‑growing mixed practice, with close to 50 employees. We have recently changed from a vet club ownership model to an independent practice, with back‑office support from Franklin Vets and all four owners working as veterinarians in the business.
