This is a new way of working where kaimahi are empowered, collaboration is real, leadership is visible and values-driven, and ensuring those doing the work help shape the direction of the organisation.#### Mō tō mātou tira – About the teamThe Insights team are responsible for identifying insights, undertaking research and monitoring which ensures evidence-based insights inform the Ombudsman's work and maximises their effectiveness and performance. This will involve internal and external qualitative and quantitative analysis. The team works collaboratively across the Office, particularly to ensure that trends and common issues across the Ombudsman's work are identified.#### Mō te tūranga - About the roleThis role is backfilling a staff member on external secondment and sits within our newly formed Insights, Research and Monitoring team (IRM) with the Governance and Strategy group. It will work closely with the IRM team and the Information Knowledge Management teams.This role will provide thought leadership to a range of stakeholders to identify what we really need to support our teams in recognising and prioritising actionable insights. This work will connect closely with other key pieces of work including the development of our data and information strategy.
