Position Summary Lead and influence the O&G Registrar experience at Te Toka Tumai-Auckland. Develop your clinical leadership capabilities and progress advanced training in your areas of interest. We are seeking an exceptional and motivated clinician to join our dynamic Obstetrics & Gynaecology team as Chief Medical Resident. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, pastoral care and rostering oversight to the team of 19 O&G Registrars and 15 house officers. Serve as part of the clinical governance structure and advise the Medical Director, Service Clinical Directors and Chief Training Supervisor. Liaise with the Northern Regional Alliance recruitment and operational support teams. Influence the experience of RMOs in Women's Health by providing operational leadership and guidance to rostering, leave, and RMO workforce issues. Lead and support medical colleagues, influence the work environment and clinical governance, while completing advanced training requirements. Qualifications Close to completing New Zealand O&G vocational training (must have completed RANZCOG core training). Interest in service development, teaching and clinical leadership.
