Our Timber & Building department sits at the heart of our Trade operation — supporting builders, contractors, and serious DIY customers who rely on us every day for quality products, efficient service, and practical advice. This isn't just another retail role. It's a hands‑on position in a business where teamwork matters, effort is recognised, and no two days are quite the same. About the Role We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available within our Timber & Building (Trade) department, working across both the Trade Counter and Timber Yard. This position works 40 hours per week across four 10-hour days , including every Sunday and three additional rostered weekdays . This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role supporting customers from enquiry through to order fulfilment. You'll work in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy, product knowledge, and teamwork matter. Whether you're on the counter processing orders or out in the yard preparing them, your focus is to keep customers moving — quickly and correctly. This is a physically active role in a busy department, involving regular manual handling of timber, building materials, and trade products. Team members must be comfortable safely undertaking the physical requirements of the role while working in an outdoor, warehouse‑style retail environment.
