About this role This is a dual role where you will be responsible for completing office tasks such as managing bookings, checking guests in and out, taking payments and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Alongside this you will also provide cleaning services for our holiday park cabins and communal areas, ensuring these spaces are clean and welcoming for our next visitors. You will be confident in performing a high level of cleaning as well as laundry duties. We are a small team, so teamwork is key. This is a 10 hour a week role working Mon‑Sun on a rotating roster basis which includes weekends and Public Holidays. About you You have a positive attitude, excellent cleaning skills and exceptional customer service skills. You will bring the coaching and training we provide to ensure you shine in this role. You will be a team player who upholds Whakatāne District Councils values, can work unsupervised or alongside the team, continuously improves processes and procedures, understands health and safety, and has excellent time‑management skills. To Be Successful In This Role Previous experience in a Housekeeping or Cleaning position. Previous experience with guest management including check in and check out. Well‑rounded administration skills. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to pass a pre‑employment health and drug test.
