Volunteering Opportunity - July School Holidays

Overview The Kind Foundation (previously YMCA) is seeking students interested in volunteering during the upcoming school holidays. Our Holiday Programmes cater to children aged 5-11 years old in three locations: Papa Hou in the City, Bishopdale Rec Centre, and Te Kāpehu Riccarton Primary. The programmes offer a variety of fun activities such as Ninja Valley, Science Day and Clip & Climb. Responsibilities Interact with the children and engage in activities. Build relationships and support the group under supervision. Offsite activities are provided; volunteers do not need to pay for activities or transport during the day. Benefits Volunteers will receive a free gym membership which can be used at Elevate City and Bishopdale, as a thank you. Qualifications Students must be 15+ years old to volunteer with us. Interviews for the programme start in 2 weeks on Tuesday 19 May and Thursday 21 May. Please inform students they must be prompt in submitting the application form if they wish to have a volunteering opportunity over the school holidays. Please let me know if you have any questions.
