About the Role Provide psychiatric care across Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals. Rotate through Tauranga Hospital, with a 13‑week period at Whakatāne Hospital as part of an accredited training program by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). Gain experience in a wide range of psychiatric specialties. About You Hold an MBChB or equivalent medical qualification and be fully registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). Passion for psychiatry and commitment to enhancing mental well‑being of the community. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Previous psychiatric experience preferred but not essential; open to applicants with varying levels of experience. Employment Information Full‑time role – commencing February 2027. Working across Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals in the Bay of Plenty.
