Maintenance Assistant

Purpose of Position The role of Maintenance Assistant is to ensure the smooth running of Lodge equipment and assist. Key Responsibilities Performance Goals General Maintenance Maintain the correct usage of all Lodge plant and equipment and report any malfunctions promptly to the Maintenance Manager. Carry out specific weekly and monthly tasks as set by the Maintenance Manager. Make sure all maintenance and gardening provisions are stored and secured in the appropriate area. Keep all service manuals up to date and document equipment schedules wherever necessary. Dead head all flowering shrubs after flowering. Keep plantings from hanging over walk paths. Prune trees and hedges. Maintain Constructive Relationships with all Lodge Teams Ensure professionalism in all interactions with guests and outside operators. Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality. Health and Safety Health & Safety requirements are adhered to. All workplace accidents and incidents are reported, hazards are identified, and mitigants/remedies are undertaken. H&S awareness through the implementation of safe practices.
