You will be responsible for supervising a dedicated team managing scanning, indexing, and handling of patient documents, playing a critical role in supporting the organisation's transition to digital health records.This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and technical capability to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality. You will coordinate workflows, troubleshoot digitisation systems, and continuously improve processes to ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.**About you***As a Digitisation Bureau Team Leader, you will bring:** Proven leadership and team management experience* Strong technical skills in digitisation and document management systems* Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, solve problems, and meet deadlines* Understanding of clinical information management (preferred)**About the Team/Service**Our Digitisation Bureau team plays a vital role in supporting clinical services by ensuring accurate, secure, and timely digitisation of patient records. The team contributes directly to improving healthcare delivery through effective information management.Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua – MidCentral is a 350-bed hospital in the city of Palmerston North, Manawatū, a city in the Lower North Island of New Zealand. Palmerston North Hospital is a secondary hospital and offers most medical and surgical specialties with the exception of Cardiothoracic, Plastic and Neurosurgery. The hospital serves a local population of 180,000 but is the base for a regional head and neck oncology service which has responsibility for a population of 550,000 and draws patients from Whanganui, Taranaki, and Hawke's Bay.Employing over 2500 people, MidCentral offers a supportive work environment that accepts and values all employees.
