Job Description

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking a Landowner Liaison/Works Coordinator to join our Field Support team in Palmerston North. This role provides essential administration and coordination support to ensure landowner liaison activities and works programs run smoothly. You will manage landowner communications, maintain accurate records and support project managers, supervisors and field teams to meet operational and client requirements. Tasks and duties Managing the Clients Landowner Liaison database, ensuring the information is up to date, relevant and accurate. Updating the in‑house Resource Plan with Landowner Liaison information and notes. Liaising with landowners directly to ascertain access to their property and maintaining good relationships. Mailing outs to landowners with correct information relevant to the work scope for the month. Working closely with the Scheduler to ensure monthly client targets are met. Co‑ordinating with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Service Delivery Managers, Engineers and others to ensure goals are met. Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions. Ensuring reports, variations etc. are reported to the client in conjunction with Job Managers. Collecting and analysing data associated with projects undertaken so project outcomes are delivered on time. Managing client‑owned equipment in the system to ensure reliability and integrity, including stock‑takes, repairs and replacement materials/equipment. Responding to inquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts, programmes, projects, services provided, and persons affected. Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programmes, projects and services provided. Qualifications At least three years of relevant work experience. Organised, detail‑focused and confident dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Experience in administration or coordination support. Strong customer‑service and professional communication skills. Confidence engaging with landowners by phone, email and written correspondence. High attention to detail and accurate data‑entry skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience with CRM, SharePoint, Maximo, JD Edwards or similar systems is an advantage. What we offer Supportive and flexible team environment.
