Driver - Class 4

Job Description We are seeking a Class 4 Driver to join our team in Rangiora. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of vehicles, ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods or passengers. Operatetrucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-tripvehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. Plan and follow designated routes, utilizing navigation tools and map-reading skills.. Maintain accurate records of completed jobs, mileage, and vehicle condition. Comply with all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed. Qualifications Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and regulations. Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including trucks. Strong navigation and map-reading skills. Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset. Relevant driving experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry. Knowledge of local roads and routes in the Christchurch area is preferred. Familiarity with transportation regulations and laws is an advantage.
