As our Centre Cook, you’ll prepare daily meals in a well‑equipped kitchen, following our Healthy Heart approach and Nourish menus. You’ll create food that is both nutritious and appealing for young children, supported by approachable leadership, clear guidelines, and a team that truly values the vital role you play. This role is 30 hours per week. Responsibilities Prepare daily meals for tamariki following Healthy Heart approach and Nourish menus. Follow menu guidelines while maintaining kitchen hygiene. Support the centre with food‑related routines. Qualifications Confident cooking for groups, comfortable following set menus. Organized, efficient, and able to maintain a clean, well‑run kitchen. Warm, friendly, and able to build rapport with tamariki and whānau. Fit and active, with good time management skills. Excellent communicator with a positive, team‑centered nature.
