Carpenters and Joiners Wanted – Opportunities with Tradestaff Are you an experienced carpenter or joiner looking for a new challenge? Qualifications Experience in Residential, Commercial and Civil Carpentry Shuttering joinery (including steel‑tying) Framing, steel framing 1st, 2nd and final fix Roofing timbers/roofing joinery/wall framing Experience in joinery/cabinetmaking – windows and doors, staircases, bespoke timber joinery Ability to read and set out from basic plans for installations Ability to use woodworking machinery such as jigsaws, planers, jointers, routers and other hand tools Ability to cut, shape and fix panels, plasterboard, timbers, perspex and other materials Ability to assemble prepared wood into structures and fittings ready for installation Experience with shop fitouts (preferred) Ability to operate CNC machines and edge banding (preferred) Minimum 3+ years’ experience Trade qualifications preferred; otherwise extensive carpentry/joinery experience acceptable Own tools Reliable transport At least 2 work references 100% commitment to Health & Safety Able to pass a pre‑employment drug test Class 1 licence preferred Benefits We offer competitive rates of pay, varied and challenging work, regular hours with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, and long‑term opportunities.
