Job Description
It’s an exciting time to join us as we lead change across the public service to implement social investment and support the Government to achieve better outcomes from social sector spending. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Manager to join SIA on a fixed-term basis. This is an opportunity to establish and embed an enterprise-wide project and programme management approach and business planning processes that strengthens delivery discipline, improves visibility of performance, and supports better investment decision‑making across the Agency. To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience establishing an EPMO, PMO or similar enterprise portfolio management function, along with strong programme and project management expertise in a public‑sector environment. You will be: confident working with senior stakeholders able to translate strategy into practical frameworks and delivery disciplines skilled in governance, assurance, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement an experienced communicator with sound judgement and a collaborative leadership style comfortable working across ambiguity, spotting risks and dependencies early, and helping the agency make informed decisions The salary range for this role is $171,870 to $242,640. Starting salaries reflect skills and experience relevant to the role with offers generally made between $171,870 and $202,200. The Social Investment Agency is a central agency, set up to lead the social investment approach to improve people’s lives and to support the Government to achieve better outcomes from social service expenditure. Social investment involves using data to understand people’s needs and the best prevention points, implementing evidence‑based approaches to improving outcomes, and testing that they’ve been successful. The Agency has a particular focus on cross‑sector work to address the most pervasive social‑sector challenges.
