About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our New Zealand team, based in Horotiu (Waikato), supporting customers nationwide. This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to work overtime, particularly during peak (winter) months, and participate in an on‑call roster for after‑hours breakdown support (including occasional weekend work). The role involves regular domestic travel to customer sites across NewZealand. Key Responsibilities Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on GEA equipment Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems Support major plant shutdowns and service campaigns across NZ Work on equipment including separators, decanters, homogenisers, pumps, and rotating machinery Complete service reports and provide recommendations Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements What We Offer Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience Overtime paid at applicable rates for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week Travel allowances where applicable Late-model company vehicle, specialised tools, and PPE provided Southern Cross Health insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid birthday leave and company day leave Long Service Leave Free on‑site parking Health and well‑being initiatives Ongoing training and professional development Eligibility to participate in the company bonus scheme (where applicable) Eligibility Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NewZealand or able to meet applicable immigration requirements. Your Profile / Qualifications Skills & experience: Relevant mechanical trade qualification (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in a mechanical or industrial maintenance environment Strong mechanical fault‑finding ability Experience working with centrifuges, separators, or homogenisers Knowledge of pneumatics, and rotating equipment Ability to work independently on customer sites Full driver’s licence Willingness and ability to travel nationwide Highly desirable background in the dairy, food, or process industries Exposure to shutdown work and large‑scale maintenance projects We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
