About The Role We have an exciting leadership role on the Lower North Island Service team reporting to the region’s Service Manager. You will support an experienced team of service technicians across the Manawatu and Taranaki area. Your responsibilities include assisting in the achievement of annual financial and operational service targets, ensuring PMP completion, and proactively engaging with customers to exceed expectations in quality of service, response times and product performance. As a Field Service Manager you will manage the productivity and resourcing of the team in your remit across the region, carry out technician engagement and tech connect, and ensure they work collaboratively with customers to keep their businesses running smoothly. You will also work closely with the Sales team to focus on customer retention and satisfaction across the region. You will have the opportunity to learn Crown products and progress within the business and the organisation. Crown product knowledge is a bonus; training will be provided. The role is permanent, full‑time, Monday to Friday. Requirements About you Ideally, candidates will have 1‑2 years of previous leadership experience plus experience with material handling equipment, auto electrical, diesel mechanic or mechanical work, or a trade qualification (or equivalent overseas qualification). Preference will be given to suitable local candidates. You should bring a customer‑centric, solutions‑focused attitude, be a team player, and be prepared to support the team. IT savviness and an agile learning mindset are important. Strong rapport‑building, attention to detail, and physical fitness for manual handling are required.
