Overview Gisborne Hospital – Full time, Permanent, Health New Zealand. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality orthotic assessment, design and fabrication services to support patients in achieving optimal mobility, comfort and independence. Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical specialists and other allied health professionals to deliver person‑centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team supporting patients of Tairawhiti. Team / Service / Location Join a small dedicated Orthotics team based at Gisborne Hospital, working alongside an experienced Orthotist. The team provides orthotic services to patients and their whanau from across the Tairawhiti/East Coast Region. Qualifications A recognised qualification in Orthotics (eg: Bachelor of Health Science – Prosthetics and Orthotics, or equivalent). Eligibility for registration or membership with the New Zealand Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (NZOPA) or an international equivalent. Strong communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence‑based practice.
