Casual Contract Tutoring Opportunities – Dairy Sector Are you passionate about upskilling dairy farmers and have the capacity to get off farm to teach others? We’re looking for experienced individuals to join our team of Dairy Training tutors on a casual, contract basis all around NZ. About the Role Dairy Training is a wholly owned subsidiary of DairyNZ. Tutors are contracted to deliver and assess formal training through micro-credential courses designed for the dairy sector. These courses are provided free of charge to farmers and support upskilling across all levels. Tutoring Commitment Tutoring engagements are offered on a casual, as-needed basis, depending on course demand and location. A typical course delivery involves: One day of in-person tutoring every fortnight for 8 weeks (4 delivery days) Assessment marking and learner support between sessions What We Provide Comprehensive tutor delivery resources: PowerPoint presentations, run-sheets, course notes, assessments, and marking criteria Access to a tutor intranet and online learner platform Presentation tools: projector, flip-chart paper, whiteboard and vivid markers Ideal Tutors Will Have Practical New Zealand dairy farming experience A relevant qualification (preferably in agriculture or education) Strong communication and organisational skills A genuine desire to help others progress in their careers Professional experience in consultancy, teaching, or facilitation (preferred) Their own laptop, phone, transport, and a valid driver’s licence Applicants must have New Zealand citizenship or residency #J-18808-Ljbffr
