Field Systems The Trimble Field Systems segment provides connected hardware and software solutions that empower customers to drive productivity and progress. What Makes This Role Great You'll join a collaborative team building the cloud services that support software licensing, firmware deployment and product provisioning across Trimble's global product portfolio. Working with engineering teams around the world, you'll gain exposure to large‑scale cloud platforms, connected devices and a wide range of innovative technologies. Key Exciting Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable, cloud‑based services supporting Trimble's global licensing and deployment ecosystem. Contribute across the full technology stack, including user interfaces, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Support the delivery of software, firmware, and configuration updates to hundreds of thousands of field devices and applications worldwide (e.g., GNSS Receivers, Total Stations, Scanners, Radios and Survey, Mapping and Civil Field Software Applications). Optimize AWS‑hosted databases and backend services while implementing secure, reliable cloud solutions. Champion modern CI/CD practices to support build, release, and deployment processes. Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions and support the onboarding of new products into Trimble's licensing and deployment ecosystem. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum of 3 years professional experience in software engineering or cloud engineering. Commercial development experience using C# and .NET. Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Proficiency working with relational databases such as SQL Server. Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, along with modern CI/CD practices. Bonus Points For Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB. Working knowledge of PHP. Exposure to DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and tools like Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or Bitbucket.
