About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the day-to-day golf operations and Golf shop, ensuring everything runs smoothly while delivering an outstanding member and guest experience. This is a highly visible role where your leadership, organisation, and passion for the game will directly influence the culture and success of the club. Key Responsibilities Golf Operations & Competitions Support planning, coordination, and delivery of a full programme of golf, including competitions and tournaments (internal and external). Work closely with the Golf Committee and external organisers to deliver engaging events. Maintain and manage tee bookings, competition setups, and results using DotGolf. Foster strong relationships with members by being present, approachable, and actively involved in club life. Retail & Golf Shop Management Lead all aspects of the Golf shop retail operation, including buying, merchandising, and promotions Manage stock levels, pricing strategies, and inventory control Ensure systems, processes, and controls protect club assets and maximise revenue Leadership & Customer Experience Lead, motivate, and develop the golf operations team Create a strong service culture that is member-first and customer-focused Handle member and guest feedback professionally and proactively Drive a positive, energetic environment across the club Administration & Communication Oversee the DotGolf system, POS, and tee reservation systems Communicate effectively with members through newsletters, updates, and digital platforms Support membership processes and maintain accurate records Collaborate with greenkeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations About You You’re a natural leader who thrives on creating great experiences and building strong relationships. You bring energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for golf and people. To be successful, you will have: Proven experience managing golf operations and running competitions Strong working knowledge of the DotGolf system (essential) Experience with Xero would be beneficial Experience in pro shop retail management and merchandising A customer-first mindset with a passion for member engagement Excellent communication and organisational skills The ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team and have strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Why Join Us?
