Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Systems / Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team at our National Support Office in Parnell. Reporting to the Manager - Payroll, this role is responsible for administering and supporting payroll and time & attendance systems, maintaining payroll data integrity, and providing end-to-end payroll processing support to ensure accurate and compliant payroll services across Compass Group New Zealand. The base salary range for this roles is $72,000 to $82,000.00. Support the administration, configuration, maintenance and testing of payroll systems and enhancements. Process payroll activities and provide payroll support across multiple business sectors and sites. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and work with vendors or internal stakeholders to resolve payroll system incidents. Maintain payroll data, organisational structures, access controls, and compliance with company policies and legislative requirements. Assist with audits, reporting, process improvements, training materials, and payroll-related projects. At least 2 years experience in payroll system administration (Myob/PayGlobal) with a sound understanding of payroll legislation within a high-volume, multi-site environment. Knowledge of payroll and time & attendance systems (Deputy). Generate reports as and ensure the data is accurate and presented in the required format. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Able to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and provide a high level of customer service.
