Put your unparalleled people skills and farming know‑how to excellent use! Join our Technical Sales team with remit around Ashburton and you'll quickly embed yourself as part of our tight‑knit farming community. Cementing yourself as their trusted advisor and ag‑product expert, you'll partner with our current on‑farm customer base while actively hunting out new opportunities, looking to grow market share and build your brand in the region. This role will give you the opportunity to take your career to the next level and expand into the corporate space, looking after large accounts. When you're not out on the road, you'll find yourself in our local Ashburton Farm Source store, where you'll work alongside our highly engaged Farm Source team to deliver the best service around! About You We're looking for people with a strong affinity to the agricultural/dairy industry with a streak of competitive nature and ability to build lasting and influential relationships. With that in hand, we would like to see some credible proactive sales and customer experience in a similar role. You'll bring your professional working style and maturity to look after large corporate accounts. A big pre‑requisite is your connection to the farming industry with expertise in either animal health, nutrition, or agronomy. You will combine this knowledge with your willingness to learn and drive for results, and your natural ability to build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with our farmers. To be successful in this role you'll be a collaborative, proactive, team player and have experience with working autonomously. You'll also need to be organised, process driven and enjoy structure to your day.
