Position Details Location: Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Ōtautahi Christchurch Duration: 12 weeks, full‑time, from mid‑November 2026 to February 2027 (with a two‑week break over Christmas and New Year) Eligibility: Currently studying Bachelor or Master of Science majoring in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline Responsibilities Support geological investigations and fieldwork on infrastructure projects Contribute to geological mapping, ground model development, and interpretation of subsurface conditions Work alongside engineers, geologists, and project teams to help inform infrastructure design and delivery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Asia Pacific Build your network through Limelight, our early careers community Qualifications Current license to drive in New Zealand Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Curiosity and interest in how geological conditions influence transport infrastructure projects How we support your growth Supported by a team leader, a buddy, and a dedicated early careers team, you will take part in our Intern Learning Series and Leadership Series—helping you develop your professional skills and understand how complex work is delivered across teams and disciplines.
