The Role Millennium has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team in Christchurch, NZ! This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast‑paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers. We have one part‑time position available, with shifts as follows: Monday‑Friday: 4:30 AM‑8:30 AM Key Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard Spot cleaning of furnishings Sweeping and mopping Toilet cleaning Rubbish collection Cleaning of glass, both internal and external Dusting of all hard surfaces Scrubbing showers, bathrooms and toilets Waterblasting as trained and instructed About You Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment is required. Proven experience of working in a team successfully. The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously. Strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills. Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work. Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards. Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required. Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus. Candidates for this vacancy should not have any allergies to chlorine, as you will be cleaning a swimming pool complex. You are not required to clean the swimming pool; chlorine is present at the complex. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. You must be 18+ due to company H&S policies. This role covers detailed cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, glass, surfaces, scrubbing, including showers. All communications, including training and health & safety instructions, are in English only. You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills. You must be fit and healthy – as this role covers detailed cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, glass, surfaces, scrubbing, including showers.
